Dave Baker was called to the ministry after serving in the U.S. Army. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Pastoral Theology and his education culminated in a Doctorate in Divinity.

In 1993, he and his wife Laura, returned to their roots in Columbia, TN and started a new ministry, Family Baptist Church. Over the years, their family has grown to include eleven children and twelve grandchildren.

Dr. Baker's commitment to service extends beyond the pulpit, as he has devoted 28 years as a volunteer chaplain at the Maury County Jail. His influence has not been confined to the realms of ministry and service; he is the author of six published books which have garnished him being recognized as an Amazon best selling author.

Above all, Dr. Baker has formed his ministry around the saving grace of our God through Jesus Christ. His passion is helping to restore those who have lost their way. His life has been a testament to service, faith, and an unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of those around him.
